Big Agency Expertise. Small Business Pricing.

Our website. Our social posts. Our proposals. We say it all the time: White Hound offers big agency expertise at small business pricing.

On the surface, it’s a simple idea. But for me, and by extension White Hound, it’s personal. The idea reflects a deeper belief about what marketing should be, as well as who it’s for.

Where It All Started

I got my start at Balcom Agency, one of Fort Worth’s most respected advertising shops. There, I had the opportunity to learn from incredibly smart, talented people and work on campaigns for brands like Justin Boots, Cook Children’s, USMD and Southwest Bank. That season of my life gave me a real appreciation for the craft, for what thoughtful, strategic, high-quality marketing could do for a business.

But I also saw something that would nag at me for a few years: many truly small small businesses never got close to that level of work. Not because they didn’t value it, but because it was priced out of reach. The partnership just didn’t make sense for the small business (pricing that was too high) or the agency (margins that were too low).

The Problem

This issue has only grown larger over the last ten years or so. As digital tools became more accessible, more and more small businesses either went the DIY route or turned to low-cost options. Fiverr. Upwork. AI-generated logos. Cookie-cutter templates.

And while those tools have their place, too often, the output just didn’t match the heart these business owners put into everything else they did.

It killed me to see people spending their hard-earned money on branding that didn’t inspire or ad campaigns that weren’t being managed or optimized.

This is the crux of what led me and Jessica to start White Hound.

Our Philosophy

We built our agency to serve the kind of businesses most agencies can’t afford to work with. The family-owned shops. The regional players in giant industries. The teams running lean and wearing too many hats.

We believe good strategy and design should be accessible to everyone. That it should feel personal. That you shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality just because your budget isn’t massive.

We keep our overhead low. We run lean and stay flexible. But those things may change over time. When they do, we’ll still serve the “little guy.” Our team works hard to understand where each client is at and build solutions around their real-world constraints. It’s a repeatable solution that ensures we can always partner with the businesses looking for a quality solution, no matter their budget.

Our Philosophy Coming to Life

What exactly does all of this mean in practice? Sometimes, it’s a $300/month strategy consultation retainer. Other times, it’s a $30,000 brand and web overhaul. Either way, our goal is the same: make sure every dollar works harder. We provide:

  • Strategic plans rooted in your business goals

  • Brand and web work that tells your story with clarity and confidence

  • Ad campaigns that are managed and optimized

  • Honest, flexible conversations about what you need now and what’s next

Sometimes we build a new ad campaign. Sometimes we run an audit. Sometimes we simply act as a coach, teaching a client how to follow best practices for social media or Google Search Ads. But no matter what, we leave every conversation with clarity and a plan.

Why It Matters

"Big agency expertise. Small business pricing." isn’t just a slogan for me or White Hound. It’s how we’ve chosen to build a business. It’s how we work. It’s what I believe small businesses deserve.

If you’re looking for someone who gets what it’s like to be in your shoes and will find a solution regardless of budget, I’d love to talk.

Because we’re not just building something for small businesses.

We’re building one, too.
